Scottish members do not vote on the BSPS Council. The Scottish Branch Chairman is automatically a member of the BSPS Council giving Scottish Branch representation. Memberships run from 1st Jan to 31st Dec each year. Membership Cost LIFE (18yrs-30yrs) £1000 LIFE (31yrs-49yrs) £800 LIFE (Over 50yrs) £400 Annual ADULT SHOWING £62 ** Owners of Ponies require this category of membership ** ADULT NON-SHOWING £40 JUNIOR £30 Types of Membership: Adult - This membership is for owners and riders of animals who are 18 or over on the 1st of January in the current year. If you own a pony that is ridden by a junior member please select this option. Junior - Junior membership is for anyone who is 17 years or younger on the 1st of January in the current year. Junior members cannot be the registered owner of an animal. Non-Showing - non showing memberships are for those who wish to support the society but who do not show ponies with BSPS. This option is used by a number of our Judges. All owners of showing animals must be full Adult members. Pony registrations are managed by BSPS Sawtry ** and ponies must be registered prior to the date of the show to compete in RIHS qualifiers and to qualify for Summer or Winter BSPS Championship shows. Also to be eligible for Member Area points awards, points will only be accumulated following the date of pony registration. You use your Scottish Branch membership when logging in to register your pony. ** If you join rider/owner memberships via Sawtry at bsps.com we need to import your membership to the Scottish Branch membership, you will not receive discounted entries at our shows until we have added your memberships. Please ensure you take out memberships and registrations well in advance of shows. On completion of the online membership you will receive an email with your Member number, please retain the email and take note of your number. Rule books will be issued by post and are available online. We regularly send out emails containing important information and news of BSPS & BSPS Scotland’s upcoming Events to service your membership. By joining our Society you will automatically be included in our email contact list. If however, you do NOT wish us to contact you in the future we require you by law to OPT OUT of our mailing list. To OPT OUT please email us at info@bspsscotland.co.uk and simply send us a message stating OPT OUT plus name. You can of course opt out of our mailing list at any time in the future.
